Workshop RIG Education: From Individual Challenges to Joint Funding Opportunities

Abstract

This workshop aims to identify and prioritize needs in Educational Robotics across RIG and to explore opportunities for collaboration and joint funding activities. Participants will first contribute challenges and unmet needs from their own institutional perspective. These inputs will be clustered and discussed to identify common themes, opportunities for collaboration, and potential funding directions.

By the end of the workshop, we aim to have three outcomes:

1. Shared Needs: what challenges affect multiple institutions?
2. Shared Areas of Action: which challenges can be addressed collaboratively?
3. Potential Funding Initiatives: which topics are suitable for joint activities or funding applications?

The workshop will conclude with a prioritized set of community needs, potential funding directions, and the identification of partners interested in future collaborative activities within the Educational Robotics community.
